Want to become a CCDP or CCDPD or to update your credentials?
Focus on Integrated Treatment (FIT)
will get you there.
As a credentialed professional, you’re committed to the highest standards of evidence-based practice, and you know that treatment outcomes are greatly improved when a co-occurring substance use and non-severe mental health disorder are treated concurrently — by the same clinician or treatment team.
You also know that there is an unfortunate lack of easily accessible, quality education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in practice.
To support our field, IC&RC has made the unprecedented step of partnering with Hazelden, the leading publisher in education, treatment, and behavioral health to bring you Focus on Integrated Treatment (FIT). Available now, FIT is an online training program that gives you the skills you need to successfully provide integrated treatment for your clients living with a co-occurring substance use and non-severe mental health disorder.
How FIT Works
Each of FIT’s 35 modules take no
more than 60 minutes each to complete. You may choose to complete the full
program, sign on to either the clinician or clinical administrator
tract, or to take courses in specific topic areas such as Screening &
Assessment, Stagewise Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing. Each module
includes videos of real clients sharing their stories, clinical vignettes,
interactive exercises, and expert panel sessions. A 10-question test is offered
at the conclusion of each module to check your understanding of the lesson.
